processWe will meet with you to discuss your wants and needs, inspirations and design aesthetics, as well as your planned budget. After the design contract is signed and preliminary fees are submitted, our team will complete a site survey to evaluate and measure the property's existing conditions. A preliminary design will then be created and upon approval, a detailed estimate will be provided. Construction scheduling for start dates and coordinating with subcontractors will follow as required.

our storyMeg studied fine arts at SUNY Plattsburgh before transferring to the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she studied Interior Design and graduated in 2007. She is an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer and has over seventeen combined years of experience in Interior Design, architectural drafting and building trades in both residential and commercial properties. Since 2019, Meg has served as a trustee on the PlayADK board whose focus is to bring early childhood enrichment through play to our community. Meg is also a current member on The Village of Saranac Lake Development Board.
Trevor studied Business Management at SUNY Cortland and had previously been a Construction Manager for a property management company in Connecticut for eight years. Since 2016, Trevor has been busy building and renovating in
New York State.
Meg and Trevor were both born and raised in Saranac Lake, but after college, they moved to Connecticut where they lived for nearly nine years. While in Connecticut, Meg worked for design firms focused on residential and retail design, ultimately becoming a project manager for Finish Line, as well as volunteering for Yale’s Peabody museum in the exhibits department.
In 2016, they decided to pursue their dream; they returned home to start Cantwell Jackson Design Build, LLC and raise their two children amongst family and friends.
